Obituary

Dennis Loberg, “THE COWBOY,” passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on May 7th, 2022 in Fargo, North Dakota. Dennis was born to Christ and Laura Loberg in Britton, South Dakota, on May 13,1950. Dennis is survived by his 3 children and 8 siblings. Sons: Michael (Shari) Loberg of Waverly, Minnesota; Jesse (Jonelle) Loberg of Mora, Minnesota; Brandon (Laura) Loberg of Albertville, Minnesota. Sister & Brothers: Donna Resler of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; Ronald Loberg of New Richmond, Wisconsin; Lawrence Loberg of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Gene (Mary) Loberg of Andover, Minnesota; Linda (Mike) Lindauer of Vincennes, Indiana; Robert (Beverly) Loberg of Nevada, Iowa; Brian Loberg of Veblen, South Dakota. Dennis was preceded in death by his father & mother and eight brothers: Donald, Loberg Twins, Carmon, Roger, Allen, Richard, and Gordon.

Dennis grew up & went to school in Veblen, South Dakota. He met his wife Marlys in Sisseton, South Dakota & became the father to three sons. He later moved to California where he met many of his friends. He worked at the Bicycle Club for many years. He spent his last few years in Minnesota & South Dakota where he enjoyed being with his family & friends. During his last moments with family by his side, he said he could see his angel was in the room and the Lord was ready for him to come home. Dennis had many friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
